The world has lost a great scientist, and I a good friend. When Frans came to Berkeley he was kind enough to grant me a long interview for my film The Third Harmony. Far beyond helping us so much at the Metta Center for Nonviolence, he made a vital contribution to overturning the Darwinian-Freudian theory of "innate aggression," which has done so much harm to the world. May his work spread far and wide.
